How are the tops made?
I cut my designs out by hand and get as many versions of the pattern as there are woods in the design. I don’t use a laser cutter. I find the laser cut inlays look a little too sterile, and lack the warmth of a hand cut piece.

What are the boxes made out of?
The boxes are made from veneer core Baltic birch plywood made from over seven plies to provide a strong and stable surface for the veneer inlay.

What's on the bottom of each box?
The bottom of each box is covered with a heavy weight black felt.

Are the boxes stained or colored?
No. I use no stain. I use the natural colors of the woods.
